September 2, 2010 = The Day Our Lives Change Forever

I am so thrilled to tell everyone that we have an official date to expect Millie Grace Bird.  I met with my doctor on Monday and I was 1cm dilated and 50% effaced.  I also got an ultrasound so see how big baby is and she is now 7 pounds, 6 ounces!  Big baby!  So, because of her size, my doctor decided that I should be induced before my due date.  Thank goodness!  I am excited because she will be out of town during my actual due date so it really eases my mind knowing that she will be here to deliver my baby a week early.  

So, the big day is set for September 2, 2010 (seven days away)!  Unless Millie comes on her own before then, that's when we expect her.  If any of you know me, you know how weird I am about numbers.  At first, we were going to induce on the 3rd but that made me nervous so luckily, my doctor moved the date to the 2nd.  Ahhh a nice even number!  Makes me much happier.  Anyway, Trevor and I are so thrilled and anxious for the day to come.  We had our car seats installed and inspected today which was the very last step in our preparation for Millie's arrival.  Now we just have to wait...
