Woke up at 10:30 (never happens).
Took the dogs for a walk.
Ate some yogurt.
Showered and got ready for the day.
Went to North Star Mall to SAKS to get my new watch sized.
Got some cute jewelry at the Limited.
Bought Millie this outfit from Janie and Jack.
Grabbed some Chick-fil-A.
Headed over to the Chic Mama Maternity boutique in Stone Oak.
And then it happened.....
While I was browsing the racks at Chic Mama finding nothing to cover my massive stomach, the owner came up and asked me if I wanted a FREE 4D ultrasound. "What?" I couldn't believe it. See, my doctor's office doesn't have the technology to give the 4D ultrasounds so if I wanted to get one we would have had to pay out of pocket and I just wasn't going to do that. So I was speechless when she said she would do it for FREE! They just bought the machine and were training their employees on how to use it properly so I would be the one they would practice on. Of course, I said yes!
I couldn't get a hold of Trevor because he was in meetings all day so I was sad that he missed it but I did send him this picture of the TV screen.
It's pretty blurry but you can make out her eyes, nose and hand that is covering her beautiful, full lips! Trevor's text response: "Wow. Speechless."
It was so amazing to see her moving around, blinking, yawning, and sucking her thumb. she wouldn't move her hand away from her face for most of the ultrasound but I did get one good look at her mouth. she has very full heart-shaped lips like mine. She has her daddy's button nose and his cherub cheeks. And it also looks like she has hair!
I was hoping they could give me a good picture of her girly parts (just as a reassurance) but unfortunately the tech wasn't experienced enough to figure out how to tell the difference. Plus, we couldn't get a clear shot down there. I'm pretty convinced our Millie is not a Willie but if I could just get one real clear, legs spread, "hello I'm a girl" picture, I'd be very happy.
It was a great Tuesday to say the least, and now I get to wait for Trevor to come home and pick me up and head up to the bowling alley for Gruene Harley-Davidson's first ever bowling league kick-off. We won't be playing but definitely cheering for our peeps.
Have a great evening!
